AI has impacted everyone in many different capacities, whether it be work school, or other everyday activities AI has impacted you.
The documentary left me wondering if this is a good or bad thing due to the complexity of AI. One of the things that shocked me the most was the effect that this is having on jobs, especially in female dominated careers such as check out clerks, or cashiers.
AI has also been used for major surveillance, and even has been considered "spying". With AI being so unregulated it makes me wonder how this is affecting certain demographics of people.
When doing additional research I found out how AI is spying on you more than you think. Researchers say that your phone knows a lot more than people think.
This is the most scary thought, because oftentimes people have no idea that any of this is going on. While our phones are not necessarily recording and listening to our conversations, they do have the ability to see what we search for and track the websites that we are looking at. This is also know as a digital footprint.
Facial Recondition is a part of AI and something that is also becoming more complex. Facial recognition is one of those applications that have undergone advancements as time has gone on and are also using AI to make it more advanced. The unsettling thing that is associated with this, is when you open your photos and it displays examples of all the people who you have taken pictures with. That is a part of AI.
AI is everywhere and the thing is that this is the least advanced that it will ever be, everyday every second and every minute it becomes more and more advanced.
